Hi I’m Jatty
I opened Unique Salon in 1999 as the first Asian salon in Burton-upon-Trent.
Starting as a part-time venture, I pursued my passion for the makeup and beauty industry. While raising my young family, I dedicated years to perfecting my skills and exploring opportunities to expand into the beauty, hair, and bridal markets. I’ve had the privilege of collaborating with leading brands such as TROPIC Skincare, Alfaparf Milano, and Wella. In the bridal sector, I’ve worked alongside KYLES Jewellery, model Arshina Tridevi (featured on Desi Rascals, now on Netflix, and who performed on Strictly), and an incredible backstage team of makeup artists across various events.
I believe that to succeed, it's essential to continually reinvent yourself and understand your customers—everyone is unique and has their own special qualities.
